Rotterdam Food Hub spans 60 hectares on the Calandkanaal, at the point where the Maasvlakte begins. The area is being developed for companies in the agri-food sector, with direct quayside access for the efficient handling of chilled and frozen cargo.

Spread across four plots, the site will accommodate approximately 145,000 m² of cold-storage facilities, complemented by a dedicated terminal and an independent energy hub.

The project comprises:

+ approximately 145,000 m² of cold-storage facilities
+ two phased cold-storage warehouses: Necron Food Park I & II
+ a 73,000 m² terminal operated by PTP Group on the Calandkanaal
+ a quay wall of more than 500 metres
+ an independent energy supply
